Reflection on Coordinating the Construction of Sponge Cities and Flood Control,Drainage and Disaster Reduction Systems

Abstract：In recent years,heavy rainfall has occurred frequently in parts of China,and urban waterlogging disasters have become more and more severe.In order to ensure a good ecological environment and urban safety,it has become a top priority to coordinate the construction of sponge cities and flood control,drainage and disaster reduction systems.The current urban waterlogging problem and its causes were analyzed in this article,and suggestions were put forward from changing the subjective perception of the public and optimizing the construction of flood control and drainage systems.It was pointed out that the construction of sponge cities and flood control,drainage and disaster reduction systems should be promoted in a coordinated manner based on the principle of"point,line,and area".Finally,the governments,enterprises,institutions,and residents were called on to participate in the construction of flood disaster reduction systems,create a good social atmosphere,and ensure the normal operation of the city and the safety of peoples'lives and property.
