Analysis of Water Diversion Problems in Dagong Irrigation District

Abstract：Dagong Irrigation District is one of the 38 large-scale irrigation districts in Henan Province,which is an important guarantee of food security in Henan Province.The Dagong Main Trunk Canal is an important channel connecting the Yellow River basin and the Haihe River basin,and it is a key node in the construction of water network in northern Henan Province.However,due to the underground water level overmining,irrigation and drainage facilities are basically in a natural development state,and are out of step with the rapid development of rural economic situation,seriously affecting the further improvement of farmers'quality of life.Irrigation district water diversion has become an important factor restricting the development of local agricultural economy,so it is urgent to accelerate the modernization of Dagong Irrigation District.The problems existing in the process of water diversion in Dagong Irrigation District were analyzed in this paper,and the corresponding measures were put forward in order to better promote the protection and healthy and sustainable utilization of groundwater in Dagong Irrigation District,so as to achieve high-quality development of agriculture and rural economy,promote rural revitalization.
