Variation Characteristics of Water Surface Evaporation in Hengshui Lake

Abstract：The calculation of water surface evaporation of Hengshui Lake is an important part of the water balance calculation of Hengshui Lake.The commonly used instruments for observing water surface evaporation include E601 evaporation pan,20 m2 evaporation pan,20 cm diameter evaporation pan,etc.The experimental data showed that the error between the observation data of evaporation pan on the water surface of large water body and the evaporation of natural water body was small and negligible.In this paper,the water surface evaporation of Hengshui Lake was synchronously calculated by using the observation data of the 20 m2 evaporation pool at Hengshui hydrological experimental station,and its change characteristics were analyzed.The average water surface evaporation of Hengshui Lake was 31.87 million m3,the extreme value difference was 5.721 million m3,the extreme value ratio was 1.20,and the coefficient of variation was 0.06.The calculation of water surface evaporation is an important part of water resources work.It is of great significance to calculate and analyze water surface evaporation using the observation data of large water evaporation pan for water balance calculation and water resources planning.
