Monitoring Content and Indicators of Soil and Water Conservation in Urban Plain Area

Abstract：Taking Beijing as an example,through studying the functional positioning of water and soil conservation and the characteristics of water and soil loss in the urban plain area of Beijing,combining with the construction requirements of sponge city,the four main types of measures,including water and soil conservation in urban area,riparian area,rural area and temporary water and soil conservation,were tentatively put forward.Also a monitoring index system for soil and water conservation in urban plain area with six monitoring indexes,including runoff,sediment content,vegetation coverage,COD,SS and ammonia nitrogen,was put forward.This system is still in the exploratory stage and needs to be optimized and perfected continuously to provide reference for soil and water conservation monitoring in urban plain areas throughout the country.
