Study on Spatiotemporal Variation of Soil Moisture after Watering to the Lower Reaches of Tarim River
HONG Hui
Abstract:Based on the data of soil moisture content in the lower Tarim River for five years, the methods of coefficient of variation and ANOVA are adopted to analyze the spatial and temporal variation. The results show:①soil water content is characterized by spatial significant variation. In vertical direction, coefficient of variation is different obviously among different soil layers. With increasing the depth of soil layers, soil water content has increasing trend;in horizontal direction, soil water content near the Daxihaizi Reservoir is higher obviously than that further from Daxihaizi Reservoir;average soil water content near water channel is higher than that further from water channel.②soil water content in main transects has three significant layers in the range of 0~3m surface soil:water dissipate layer, water increase layer and water variation layer.③soil water content has a temporal instability characteristic. The response of soil water content to timing of the water transfer near water channel is more obvious than that further from water channel.
