Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of integrated nursing management based on evidence-based medicine on the prognosis of pediatric pneumonia complicated with heart failure. Methods A total of 128 children with pneumonia complicated with heart failure treated in the pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected. They were randomly divided into two groups according to the numerical random table method, with 64 cases in the control group receiving routine nursing, and 64 cases in the observation group receiving comprehensive nursing management based on evidence-based medicine. The psychological state, treatment cooperation, disease control effect and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention, the scores of the Child Medical Fear Survey Scale(CMFS)and the Screening for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders(SCARED)in both groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the treatment cooperation rate of the observation group was 71.88%,higher than 31.25%of the control group, while the partial cooperation rate was 25.00%and the non-cooperation rate was 3.13%,both lower than 59.38%and 9.38%of the control group(P<0.05);after the intervention, the tidal volume(VT)of both groups increased compared with that before the intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05),while the respiratory rate(RR),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),and creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)decreased compared with that before the intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);after the intervention, the pediatric critical illness score(PCIS)of both groups increased compared with that before the intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of integrated nursing management based on evidence-based medicine in children with pneumonia complicated with heart failure can effectively improve their psychological state and treatment cooperation, and enhance the disease control effect,as well as further improve their prognosis.
