Clinical research progress on liver cirrhosis complicated with spontaneous bacterial peritonitis

Abstract：Liver cirrhosis is a common clinical disease.For a long time,the incidence and recurrence rate of liver cirrhosis complicated with spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP)remains high,and an early diagnosis of SBP has become a difficult point of treatment.In recent years,with the continuous deepening of the research on liver cirrhosis combined with SBP,the early diagnosis and treatment have been largely improved.SBP has become a complication that can be intervened and treated in patients with liver cirrhosis,largely reducing the recurrence rate,morbidity and mortality rate of liver cirrhosis complicated with SBP.The article reviewed the pathogenesis,risk factors,diagnosis,treatment,prognosis and prevention of SBP complicated with liver cirrhosis via reviewing the latest literatures,hoping to provide some new ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of liver cirrhosis complicated with SBP,so as to improve the quality of life and prognosis,and reduce the burden of family and society.
