Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of integrative theory of health behavior change on blood pressure control and pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with gestational hypertension. Methods A total of 84 pregnant women with gestational hypertension in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Daqing Longnan Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected. They were randomly divided into the control group and observation group using the random number table, with 42 cases per group.Routine nursing care was performed in both groups, and integrative theory of health behavior change was additionally given to patients of the observation group.Psychological state,self-management ability, blood pressure control effect and pregnancy outcome of the two groups were compared. Results After nursing, patients in the observation group had significantly lower Pregnancy Stress Scale(PPS)score, but higher General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)score than the control group(P<0.05).After nursing, patients in the observation group had significantly higher self-management behavior score of pregnancy hypertension than the control group(P<0.05).Diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and systolic blood pressure(SBP)after nursing were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of poor pregnancy outcome was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(7.14%vs 23.81%,P<0.05).Conclusion In pregnant women with gestational hypertension, the application of integrative theory of health behavior change can promote the further improvement of their mental state and self-management ability,as well as enhance the effect of blood pressure control,so as to improve the pregnancy outcome.
