Abstract:Objective To analyze the effects of exercise-psycho-sleep intervention on comfort, sleep quality and postoperative rehabilitation of patients undergoing microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia. Methods A total of 94 patients with trigeminal neuralgia admitted to the neurosurgery department of Nanjing Brain Hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 were selected. All of them underwent microvascular decompression, and they were assigned into the control group and observation group according to computer random number table method, with 47 cases per group.Patients in the control group received routine intervention, and those in the observation group received exercise-psycho-sleep intervention. The comfort status, sleep quality, postoperative rehabilitation effect and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The Kolcaba General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)score after interventions was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(96.15±13.78 points vs 85.92±14.34 points,P<0.05).The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI,8.07±1.33 vs 10.16±2.06)and the Self-Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS,24.12±4.33 vs 27.11±5.06)were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).In the observation group, the duration of urinary tube removal,off-bed activity time, nerve function recovery and hospitalization were significantly shorter than the control group(P<0.05).In the observation group, the Trigeminal Neuralgia Quality of Life Score(TNQOLS)score was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(68.27±8.50 vs 77.19±9.60,P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with trigeminal neuralgia undergoing microvascular decompression, the application of exercise-psycho-sleep intervention program can achieve satisfactory results, which can not only improve patients' comfort and sleep quality, but also promote postoperative rehabilitation and improve their quality of life.
