Abstract:Objective To analyze the effects of chronic disease trajectory pattern on the self-management ability and disease control in patients with ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods A total of 100 UC patients treated in the gastroenterology department from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected by convenient sampling method. They were randomly divided into the control group and study group according to computer random number table method, with 50 cases per group.Routine nursing, and the trajectory model of chronic disease were carried out in the control group and study group, respectively. The disease perception level,self-management ability, disease control effect and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results After nursing, the Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire(BIPQ)score was significantly lower, while the Adult Health Self-Management Skills Rating Scale(AHSMSRS)score was significantly higher in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).The Ulcerative Colitis Disease Activity Index(UCDAI)was significantly lower, while the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire(IBDQ)score was significantly higher in the study group than the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The development of chronic disease trajectory model in UC patients can obtain satisfactory results, which not only enhances the disease perception level of patients, improves their self-management ability, but also promotes the disease control effect of patients and further improves the quality of life.
