Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of myocardial bridge(MB)of the left anterior descending coronary artery(LAD)on the fractional flow reserve-computed tomography(FFRCT),and to further explore its clinical significance. Methods Clinical data of 90 patients with MB of the LAD without atherosclerosis(MB group)and 90 with MB of the LAD and atherosclerosis(MB+atherosclerosis group)who received coronary computed tomography angiography(CCTA)from June 2019 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.During the same period,80 patients without abnormalities and MB on coronary computed tomographic angiography(CCTA)scans were collected as the control group. The effects of MB anatomical factors on FFRCT were analyzed. Results The FFR1,FFR2 and FFR3 values in MB+atherosclerosis group were significantly lower than those of the MB group and control group during diastolic and systolic periods, and the FFR2 and FFR3 values in the MB group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).In patients with simple MB,there were significant differences in the length of angina pectoris,no angina pectoris and MB between the normal FFRCT group and the abnormal FRCT group(P<0.05).Conclusion CCTA scans can be used to quantitatively measure FFRCT in patients with MB of the LAD.The FFRCT values of MB patients decreased. The abnormality of FFRCT in patients with simple MB is related to the length of MB.
