Effect of ADOPT mode on postoperative rehabilitation of patients underwent cerebral hemorrhage surgery

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the nursing based on ADOPT(attitude-definition-open mind-planning-try it out)mode on postoperative rehabilitation of patients underwent cerebral hemorrhage surgery.Methods A total of 252 patients underwent cerebral hemorrhage surgery in our hospital between February 2023 and March 2024 were randomly assigned into the observation group and control group.All patients were managed by conventional postoperative care,and those in observation group additionally received the nursing based on ADOPT mode.The activities of daily living(ADL),motor functions,nerve function recovery,inflammatory factor,quality of life,nursing satisfaction were included as comparators.Results After the intervention,the observation group had significantly increased Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)and modified Barthel Index(MBI)scores,decreased calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),increased insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),decreased arginase 1(Arg1),tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),nuclear factor erythroid 2(NF-E2)-related factor 2(Nrf2),higher scores of psychological function,social function,physical function and material life,increased nursing satisfaction than the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ADOPT mode in nursing patients underwent cerebral hemorrhage can significantly improve ADL,reduce inflammatory factors levels,and increase the quality of life and nursing satisfaction,and it is worthy of promotion.
