Abstract:Objective To analyze the construction and application effect of a descending ladder thinking first-aid mode in patients with acute chest pain based on the SWOT(strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats)analysis. Methods Ninety patients with acute chest pain admitted from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into the conventional group(n=45,routine emergency intervention)and study group(n=45,a descending ladder thinking first-aid mode based on the SWOT analysis). The first-aid efficiency, rescue success rate, disease deterioration degree, neurological function, cognitive function, health status, quality of life, cardiac function, cardiovascular adverse events and first-aid satisfaction were evaluated and compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the conventional group, the time of triage evaluation, imaging examination, referral and treatment in the study group was significantly shorter, and the total deterioration rate and the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events were significantly lower(P<0.05).The rescue success rate of the two groups was comparable(P>0.05).On the first day of admission, there were no significant differences in the neurological function, cognitive function, health status, quality of life, and cardiac function(P>0.05).The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score at 1 month of treatment was significantly lower in the study group than that of the control group, while the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)score, quality of life, satisfaction with first aid scores, cardiac index(CI),stroke volume(SV),and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)levels were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of a descending ladder thinking first-aid mode based on the SWOT analysis in patients with acute chest pain has improved the efficiency and success rate of emergency treatment, neurological and cognitive functions, health status, quality of life, and cardiac function, with a lower incidence of cardiovascular adverse events.
