Abstract:Objective To explore the predictive value of the combination of uterine artery hemodynamics with placental growth factor(PLGF)and cancer antigen 125(CA125)in preeclampsia(PE).Methods This was a prospective control study.Eighty PE patients admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to August 2022 were recruited, and they were divided into mild PE(n=53)and severe PE group(n=27)according to the severity of the condition. In addition,Eighty normal pregnant women underwent prenatal examination during the same period were enrolled as the control group. The color Doppler ultrasound and the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit(ELISAK)were employed to detect uterine artery hemodynamics,PLGF and CA125 levels, respectively.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify the independent influencing factors for PE.The predictive value of the combination of uterine artery hemodynamics with PLGF and CA125 in the occurrence and progression of PE was assessed by receiver operator characteristic curve(ROC)analysis. Results There was no statistically significant difference in age, gestational week, gestational frequency, parity, and pre pregnancy body mass index(BMI)data among the three groups(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in pulsatility index(PI),resistance index(RI),ratio of systolic(S)to diastolic(D),PLGF,and CA125 levels among the three groups(P<0.05).The levels of PI,RI,ratio of S to D and CA125 increased but the levels of PLGF decreased with the severity of the disease. The result for Logistic regression analysis showed that PI,RI,ratio of S to D,PLGF,and CA125 were all risk factors for PE in pregnant women(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of the ROC of the combination of uterine artery hemodynamics(PI,RI,ratio of S to D)with serum PLGF and CA125 in the prediction of the occurrence and progression of PE was 0.834(0.745-0.968)and 0.823(0.745-0.984),respectively,which was significantly higher than that of any single diagnostic indicators(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of uterine artery hemodynamics and serum PLGF and CA125 has a significant predictive efficacy in PE.Compared to that of any single indicator, the combination has higher diagnostic efficacy and assessment efficacy, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
