Abstract:Objective To study the clinical efficacy of small-dose intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide combined with eye massage in macular edema(ME).Methods One hundred and eight patients with ME visited our hospital were randomized 1∶1 to receive eyeball massage therapy(massage group)or small-dose intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection+eyeball massage(injection combination group). The aim was to compare retinal thickness, intraocular pressure, visual recovery time, curve efficacy and complications before and after treatment between groups. Results Compared with the massage group, the macular retinal thickness and intraocular pressure were significantly lower(P<0.05),and the complications were significantly lower in the injection combination group(P<0.05).Conclusion The small-dose intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with eye massage for ME can effectively reduce the intraocular pressure, decrease intraocular pressure, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
