Clinical effect of statin combined with sacubitril/valsartan on the treatment of hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of statins combined with sacubitril/valsartan on treating hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia.Methods A total of 82 patients with hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia admitted to Dongying District People's Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were divided into control group(treated with simvastatin,41 cases)and observation group(treated with sacubitril/valsartan+simvastatin,41 cases)by odd-even method.Heart rate,respiratory rate,heart function,serum N-terminal B-type brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP),kidney function indexes,clinical efficacy and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results The respiratory rate and heart rate were significantly lower after treatment in both groups(P＜0.05),which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P＜0.05).The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)were significantly lower after treatment in both groups(P＜0.05),which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P＜0.05).Scr and NT-proBNP were significantly lower after treatment in both groups(P＜0.05),which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P＜0.05).The overall efficacy was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Statin combined with sacubitril/valsartan is effective in the treatment of hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia.
