Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of implementing diversified balance ability interventions on preventing lower limb deep venous thrombosis(DVT)during stroke recovery period. Methods A total of 86 stroke recovery patients receiving a comprehensive management admitted from January 2022 to June 2023 form Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University were included. They were randomly divided into two groups at a ratio of 1:1 into the control group(routine nursing care)and observation group(diversified balance ability intervention),with 43 cases per group. The intervention effects of the two groups were evaluated. Results After intervention, the levels of hemorheological indicators in both groups were significantly lower than those before intervention, which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the lower limb vein Doppler examination results of both groups were significantly better than those before the intervention, which were significantly superior in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).The score of activities of daily living of the two groups after intervention were significantly higher than those before intervention, and the risk of falls was significantly lower after intervention, which were more pronounced in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the both groups had significantly shorter 10 m walk test(10-MWT)and higher Berg Balance Scale(BBS)score than those before intervention, which were more pronounced in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of lower limb DVT was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(2/43,4.65%vs 11/43,25.58%,P<0.05).Conclusion A diversified balance ability intervention in stroke recovery patients can effectively promote the improvement of walking function and balance ability, enhance the ability of daily living, reduce the risk of falls, and has a positive effect on preventing lower limb DVT.
