Abstract:Objective To study the effect of feedback theory-based health education combined with peer support and mutual intervention for postoperative rehabilitation in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(LEASO).Methods Ninety-six LEASO patients who underwent surgery in the hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were randomised 1:1 to receive routine health education intervention(control group)or routine health education intervention+feedback theory-based health education+peer support and mutual intervention(study group). The negative emotions, psychological resilience, coping styles,self-care ability, severity of lower extremity arterial disease(LEAD)between the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)score,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ)score,Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESC A)score,ankle-brachial index(ABI),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)scores between groups were comparable(P>0.05).After intervention, the study group had significantly higher CD-RISC score,SCQC(positive coping)score,ESCA dimension score,ABI,and significantly lower SCQC(negative coping),SAS and SDS scores than the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of feedback theory-based health education with peer support and mutual intervention can effectively improve negative emotions and rehabilitation outcomes, enhance psychological resilience and self-care ability, and deepen positive attitudes in LEASO patients.
