Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment regimens of ovarian cancers in pregnancy. Methods Clinical data and treatment outcomes of 62 pregnant women with ovarian tumors treated in the hospital from January 2015 to June 2022 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among the 62 cases, there were 24 cases of palpable masses in the lower abdomen,12 cases of abdominal tenderness and 33 cases of ovarian or parauterine masses on ultrasound scans.Eight cases accepted conservative therapy, the other 56 cases accepted surgical treatment, including 49 cases of tumor excision,2 of ovarian reinversion and 5 of adnexectomy.Seven cases of ovarian tumor torsion had good pregnancy outcomes after an active management. Conclusion Regular gynecological examinations before pregnancy are recommended to women of childbearing age.Ovarian tumors should be actively managed to avoid them in pregnancy.Ultrasonography is a vital tool to the diagnosis of ovarian tumors in pregnancy.Exploration of adnexa on both sides should be routinely performed during cesarean section, aiming to identify ovarian tumors in the early stage.
