Abstract:Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects and molecular mechanism of dexmedetomidine on hyperpathia caused by remifentanil. Methods Ninety patients who were treated by laparoscopic cholecystectomy were divided into three groups, with 30 patients in each group. The patients in group A were treated by dexmedetomidine, however, the patients in group B were treated by flurbiprofen axetil, moreover, the patients in group C were not given related analgesics. Then postoperative sedation degree, postoperative pain extent, postoperative adverse reactions, the pain threshold and hyperalgesia area were observed and compared among the three grups to analyze the preventive effects and molecular mechanism of dexmedetomidine on hyperpathia caused by remifentanil. Results The postoperative sedation degree in group A and group B was significantly higher than that in group C,moreover, which in group A was more obvious ( P <0. 05). The postoperative pain extent in group A and group B was significantly lower than that in group C, moreover, which in group A was significantly lower than that in group B and group C ( P <0. 05). In addition the incidence rate of adverse reactions in group A was significantly lower than that in group B and in group C ( P <0. 05). Besides the pain threshold in group A was significantly higher than that in group B and in group C,however, the hyperalgesia area in group A was significantly less than that in group B and in group C ( P <0. 05). Conclusion The dexmedetomidine can effectively prevent hyperpathia caused by remifentanil through a variety of molecular mechanisms.
