Abstract:Objective To observe the changes of serum levels C-reactive protein (CRP),immunoglobulin (IgA、IgG、IgM),T lymphocyte subsets in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection, and to explore the correlation between the chnages and recurrent respiratory tract infection. Methods A total of 150 children patients with recurrent respiratory tract infection who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital were enrolled as observation group,at the same time, the other 150 healthy children who underwent physical examination were enrolled as control group. The serum levels of CRP,immunoglobulins including IgA,IgG,IgM and T cell subsets were detected and compared between the two groups. Results The serum levels of CRP in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, however, the serum levels of IgA,IgG,IgG2,IgG4 and IgM in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (P < 0.05).Moreover the levels of CD3,CD4 T cell subsets in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group, however, the levels CD8 T cell subset in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.05).Condusion The serum levels of IgA,IgG,IgG2,IgG4,IgM,CD3 and CD4 T cell in children patients with recurrent respiratory tract infection are lower than those in normal children, however, the serum levels CRP and CD8 T cell subset are higher than those in normal children.
