Effects of Tongxinluo capsule on haemorheological indexes,therapeutic effects and prognosis of patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of Tongxinluo capsule on haemorheological indexes,therapeutic effects and prognosis of patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack. Methods Ninety-eight patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack who were admitted and treated in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were randomly divided into two groups. The 49 patients in control group were treated by conventional therapy including decreasing blood pressure,blood lipid and blood glucose, however,the other 49 patients in observation group,on the basis of control group,were treated by Tongxinluo capsule.The haemorheological indexes and therapeutic effects were observed and compared between two groups.Results After treatment the average blood flow velocity(Vm) was significantly improved in both groups, as compared with that before treatment(P<0.05). Moreover the Vm in observation group was suprior to that in control group (P<0.05). After treatment the haemorheological indexes in both groups were suprior to those before treatment(P<0.05), furthermore,which in observation group were suprior to those in control group(P<0.05).Moreover the total effective rate in observation group (91.84%) was significantly higher than that (79.59%) in control group (χ2=13.154,P <0.01). Conclusion The conventional therapeutic schedule combined with Tongxinluo capsule can obviously improve haemorheological indexes of patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack, and can enhance therapeutic effects,thus,which is worth using widely in clinical practice.
