Effects of psychological intervention on maternal and fetal health duration of pregnancy and at perinatal stage
Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of psychological intervention on maternal and fetal health duration of pregnancy and at perinatal stage. Methods A total of 229 pregnant women and parturients were divided into observation group (n=127) and control group (n=112) according to whether they received maternal training or not.The 112 pregnant women in control group were given routine education, with traditional labor and delivery and follow-up,however, the 127 pregnant women in observation group,on the basis of control group, were given complete maternal training courses. The general data, antenatal psychological state, delivery mode, labor time, labor pain degree, gestational period complications, neonatal asphyxia rate and the correlation between infant's health state and psychological intervention analgesia mode within 6 months were observed and compared between two groups. Results The prenatal anxiety degree and labor pain degree in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05). The first and second labor time and total labor time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group (P <0.01). Moreover the natural birth rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05),and the incidence rates of gestational period complications and neonatal asphyxia in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05).In addition the infant's health state within six months in observation group was superior to that in control group (P<0.03). Conclusion The psychological intervention labor analgesia method can obviously relieve antepartum anxiety emotion and labor pain degree during childbirth, which can effectively reduce the incidence rates of cesarean delivery, postpartum hemorrhage and neonatal asphyxia, which can also shorten the labor time, reduce the incidence of complications during pregnancy, therefor, which can greatly improve the health of infants within 6 months.
