Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of ultrasound-guided percutaneous intervention on liver function of patients with liver abscess. Methods A total of 104 patients with liver abscess who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from June 2014 to June 2016 were enrolled in the study.According to sortition method, these patients were divided into control group and research group, with 52 patients in each group. The patients in control group were treated by traditional abscess incision and drainage, however, the patients in research group were treated by ultrasound-guided percutaneous intervention. The patient's body temperature, extubation time, length of staying in hospital, liver function, blood routine test indexes and complications before and after treatment were observed and compared between two groups. Results The body temperature recovery, extubation time, length of staying in hospital in research group were superior to those in control group (P < 0.05).The levels of total bilirubin (TBIL),aspertate aminotransferase (ASH) and alanine transaminase (ALT) in research group were significantly lower than those in control group (P < 0.05).The white blood cell count and neutrophil count in research group were significantly lower than those in control group (P < 0.05).Moreover the incidence rate of complications in research group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The ultrasound-guided percutaneous intervention in treatment of liver abscess can improve the liver function of patients, which is beneficial to the recovery of blood routine indexes, moreover, which can decrease the incidence of complicatins.
