Therapeutic effects of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with atomization inhalation on neonatal pneumonia and its effects on arterial blood gas and serum inflammatory factors
Abstract:Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with atomization inhalation on neonatal pneumonia and its effects on arterial blood gas and serum inflammatory factors. Methods A total of 178 infants with neonatal pneumonia were randomly divided into 3 groups:intravenous infusion group (n =60),atomization inhalation group (n =44) and combination treatment group (n =74).The patients in intravenous infusion group were treated by ambroxol hydrochloride intravenous infusion, and the patients in atomization inhalation group were treated by atomization inhalation with ambroxol hydrochloride, however, the patients in combination treatment group were treated by intravenous infusion plus atomization inhalation of ambroxol hydrochloride. After 7-day treatment, the clinical curative effects were observed, and the changes of blood gas indexes including PaO2,partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2) and serum inflammatory indexes including CRP,IL-2,IL-6,IL-10 were detected, moreover, the clinical symptoms including fever, wet rales, cough, asthma disappearance time and length of staying in hospital were observed and compared among the three groups. Results There was no significant difference in total effective rate among the three groups (P > 0.05).Tie effective rate in combination treatment group was significantly higher than that in the other two groups (P < 0.05),however,there was no significant difference between intravenous infusion group and atomization inhalation group (P > 0.05).During treatment the disappearance time of fever, wet rales, cough, asthma in atomization inhalation group was obviously shorter than that in intravenous infusion group, moreover, which in combination treatment group was significantly shorter than that in atomization inhalation group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the length of staying in hospital between intravenous infusion group and atomization inhalation group (P >0.05),however,which in combination treatment group was significantly shorter than that in intravenous infusion group and atomization inhalation group (P < 0.05).After 3-day treatment, the levels of PaO were significantly increased in the three groups (P <0.05),moreover,which in combination treatment group were significantly higher than those in the other two groups (P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of PaCO2 between intravenous infusion group and atomization inhalation group (P > 0.05),however,which in combination treatment group were significantly lower than those in the other two groups (P < 0.05).After 7-day treatment the levels of PaO2 were significantly increased in the three groups (P < 0.05),furthermore,which in combination treatment group were significantly higher than those in the other two groups (P < 0.05),besides,the levels of PaCO2 were significantly decreased in the three groups, furthermore, the decrease degree in combination treatment group was significantly lower than that in the other two groups (P < 0.05).In addition after 3-day,7-day treatment, the levels of IL-2,IL-6,IL-10,CRP in intravenous infusion group and atomization inhalation group were significantly higher than those before treatment (P < 0.05),moreover,which in combination treatment group after 1-day,3-day,7-day treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment and those in the other two groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion The ambroxol hydrochloride combined with atomization inhalation in treatment of neonatal pneumonia can obviously improve arterial blood gas, relieve inflammatory reaction, improve clinical symptoms, promote early rehabilitation of patients, with safety and reliability.
