Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of laparoscopic surgery and laparotomy on the compliance of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with gastric cancer. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with gastric cancer underwent D2 radical gastrectomy. The patients were divided into group A (laparoscopic surgery) and group B (laparotomy) by means of random number table. The compliance of chemotherapy, inflammatory factors, immune function and side effects were observed and compared between two groups. Results The compliance rate of chemotherapy in group A was significantly higher than that in group B (P<0.05).As compared with those before surgery, the levels of CRP and IL-6 were significantly increased, however, the levels of CD3,CD4,CD8 and CD4/CD8 were significantly decreased after surgery in both groups (P<0.05).The incidence rate of bone marrow suppression in group A was significantly lower than that in group B (P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the compliance rate of chemotherapy was negatively correlated to CRP,IL-6 and myelosuppression (P<0.05),however,which was positively correlated to CD4/CD8 (P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with gastric cancer undergoing D2 radical gastrectomy, the mechanical injury caused by laparoscopic surgery is smaller than that by traditional open surgery, which has less influence on immunological function of patients, and incidence rate of bone marrow suppression caused by postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy is lower, therefor, which has higher compliance with chemotherapy.
