Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between the expressions of nuclear factor B (NF-κB),βdefensin 2 (HBD-2) and intrauterine adhesion. Methods Fifty-one patients with intrauterine adhesion who were treated in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were served as observation group,at the same time,42 healthy subjects with normal endometrial tissues were served as control group. The expression levels of NF-κB mRNA and HBD-2 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR.Results The high-expression proportion of NF-κB in observation group was 80.39%,which was significantly higher than that (11.90%) in control group (P < 0.05),moreover,the high-expression proportion of HBD-2 in observation group was 94.12%,which was significantly higher than that (16.67%) in control group (P < 0.05).However there was no significant difference in the high-expression proportion of NF-κB and HBD-2 in patients with intrauterine adhesion at different degrees (P < 0.05) 5).The relative expression levels of NF-κB mRNA and HBD-2 mRNA in observation group were 9.56 ± 2.27 and 9.60 ± 2.31,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The high-expressions of NF-κB and HBD-2 exist in endometrium of patients with intrauterine adhesion, and both factors may be correlated to the pathogenesis and development of intrauterine adhesion.
