Correlation between rheumatoid arthritis and IL-1 RAP gene polymorphism
Abstract：Objective To investigate the correlation between rheumatoid arthritis ( RA) and IL-1 RAP gene polymorphism.Methods One hundred and seventy-eight patients with RA (case group) and 207 healthy subjects (control group) were enrolled in the study.The whole blood specimens of all the subjects were taken ,then DNA was extracted for genotyping.The allele frequency of IL-1RAP rs766442 and genotypes were detected and statistically analyzed .Results There were significant differences in the IL-1 RAP rs766442 genotype frequency including GG, GT, TT between two groups ( P <0.05),moreover, there was a significant difference in allele frequency between two groups ( P <0.05).Conclusion The RA patients with T allelic gene have higher probability to present positive RF -IgG, and the TT genotype of IL-1RAP rs766442 may be the predisposing gene of RA .
