Therapeutic effects of ventilator on neonatal respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe and compare the therapeutic effects of different therapy modes by ventilator on neonatal respiratory distress syndrome ( NRDS) .Methods The clinical data about 56 patients with NRDS who were admitted and treated in our hospital from November 2013 to December 2014 were collected .According to the different therapy methods by ventilator,these patients were divided into control group ( n =28) and trial group ( n =28).The patients in control group were treated by conventional mechanical ventilation , however , the patients in trial group were treated by lung protective ventilation mode.The oxygenation index,interleukin-10 (IL-10),mechanical ventilation time, death rate,tumor necrosis factor-β(TNF-β),arterial blood gas,PH and hospitalization time were observed and compared between two groups .Results The incidence rate of lung injury in trial group was significantly lower than that in control group ( P <0.05).After treatment, the oxygenation index in trial group was significantly higher than that in control group ,however ,the serum levels of TNF-βand IL-10) in trial group were significantly lower than those in control group ( P <0.05).Moreover the total effective rate in trial group was significantly higher than that in control group ( P <0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effects of protective ventilation on NRDS are comparatively obvious .
