Effects of live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus via nasal jejunum nutrition on laboratory indexes, incidence rates of complications and economical efficiency in patients with severe acute pancreatitis
Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus via nasal jejunum nutrition on laboratory indexes, incidence rates of complications and economical efficiency in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods Fifty patients with SAP who were admitted and treated in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2015 were randomly divided into control group ( n =25 ) and observation group ( n =25 ) .The patients in control group were treated only by nasal jejunum nutrition, however, the patients in observation group,on the basis of control group, were treated by live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus. The laboratory indexes, gastrointestinal function scores, incidence rates of complications, length of staying in hospital and hospitalization expenses were observed and compared between two groups. Results After treatment the laboratory indexes in observation group were suprior to those in control group and those before treatment ( P <0.05 ) .After treatment the gastrointestinal function scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group and those before treatment ( P <0.05) .The incidence rates of complications in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group ( P <0.05).The length of staying in hospital and hospitalization expenses in observation group were superior to those in control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion The live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus via nasal jejunum nutrition in treatment of SAP can effectively improve laboratory indexes, promote gastrointestinal function recovery, decrease incidence rates of complications, thus, which is helpful to reduce economic burden of patients.
