Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of micro RNA-103b ( miR-103b) in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).Methods The relative expression levels of miR-103b were detected by Real time PCR ( qRT-PCR ) in bone marrow mononuclear cells of 80 patients with ALL ( patient group ) and 20 healthy subjects (control group) from Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University between January 2014 and September 2014, moreover, the correlations between miR-103b expression and patients ’ clinical data were analyzed. Results The relative expression levels of miR-103b in patient group were significantly higher than those in control group ( P <0.05),however, there were no significant differences in the expression levels of miR-103b between acute B-ALL and acute T-ALL ( P >0.05),furthermore, there was no significant correlation between expression levels of miR-103b and bcr-abl positive rates or expression levels of bcr-abl mRNA in ALL ( P >0.05) .Conclusion The miR-103b is up-regulated in patients with ALL, which may be served as potential molecule marker in diagnosis of ALL.The expressions of bcr-abl fusion gene have no obvious effects on expressions of miR-103b in patients with ALL.
