The effect of rats serum treated by allicin on the apoptosis of esophagus cancer EC-109 cells and the expression levels of Survivin
Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of SD rats serum after intervention by allicin on the apoptosis of esophagus cancer EC-109 cells cell and the expression levels of Survivin. Methods The groupⅠ:esophagus cancer EC109 cells were cultured in normal inactivated SD rat serum medium;groupⅡ: esophagus cancer EC109 cells were cultured in inactivated SD rat serum medium plus allicin, then the cell apoptosis rates were detected by AnnexinⅤ-EGFP/PI double-standing and hypoploid peak method with flow cytometer, furthermore the expression levels of Survivin were measured by Western Blot. Results The cell apoptosis rates in group Ⅱwere significantly higher than those in groupⅠgroup ( P <0.05),however, the expression levels of Survivin protein in groupⅡwere significantly lower than those in groupⅠ( P <<0.05).Conclusion The serum of SD rat after long-term intervention by allicin can promote the apoptosis of esophagus canc-er EC109 cells and can inhibit the expression of Survivin protein.
