Study on the expression of Livin,Survivin and chemotherapeutic drug resistance in gastric cancer
Abstract：Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of Livin ,Survivin and chemotherapeutic drug resistance in gastric cancer .Methods One hundred and two specimens of gastric cancer were colleted , and the expression levels of Livin ,Survivin were detected by immunohistochemistry .The single cell suspension was prepared with fresh tumor tissue,then 6 kinds of chemotherapeutic drugs including oxaliplatin , fluorouracil, cisplatin, paclitaxel, adriamycin, cyclophosphamide were added into the suspension which was cultured for 48 hours,finally the changes of cancer cell activity were observed by MTT .Results The expression levels of Livin and Survivin in gastric cancer tissue were significantly higher than those of normal tissues ( P <0.05).The high expression of Livin in gastric cancer was correlated to the drug resistance of oxaliplatin, fluorouracil,cisplatin ( P <0.05).The high expression of Survivin was related with the drug resistance of cisplatin,adriamycin,cyclophosphamide ( P <0.05).Conclusion The overexpression of Livin,the and Survivin is correlated to the part of chemotherapeutic drug resistance in gastric cancer .
