Expre sion and biological signific ance of costimulatory molecule B7-H3 in patients with spontaneous abortion
Abstract:ObjectiveToobservesolublesB7-H3levelsinserumofperipheralbloodinnormalwomen,pregnant women, patients with spontaneous abortion and recurrent spontaneous abortion, and to analyze its expression in chorion and deciduas of artificial abortion women and patients with spontaneous abortion or recurrent spontaneous abortion, and to investigate the biological significance of B7-H3 in order to provide the experimental basis for early diagnosis of spontaneous abortion. Methods The contents of sB7-H3 in serum were detected by ELISA in normal women without pregnancy, normal pregnant women, patients with spontaneous abortion or recurrent spontaneous abortion. The expression levels of B7-H3 in chorion and deciduas of patients with artificial abortion and patients with spontaneous abortion were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results There were significant differences in the serum levels of sB7-H3 among normal control group, normal pregnancy group, spontaneous abortion group, recurrent spontaneous abortion group ( P <0.05).However there were no significant differences in the expression levels of sB 7-H3 between artificial abortion group and spontaneous abortion group ( P >0.05) .The expression levels of sB7-H3 in deciduas in artificial abortion group were significantly higher than those in spontaneous abortion group ( P<0.05).The expression of B7 could be found in local position of chorion, however, which could found anywhere in deciduas tissue. Conclusion B7-H3 molecule is involved in pregnancy immunization and is correlated to pathogenesis of spontaneous abortion.
