Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between Helicobacter pylori ( Hp ) infection and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease ( CAD) as well as ocular fundus arteriosclerosis ( OFA) .Methods According to the results of the coronary angiography(CAG),the 305 patients were divided into non-CAD group and CAD group, all the patients underwent 13C-breath test,Hp IgG antibody determination and OFA,at the same time, the patien’ s case history was colleted, microalbuminuria ( UMA) , high sensitivity C-reactive protein ( Hs-CRP ) were detected and blood routine test , biochemical parameter examination ,glycosylated hemoglobin test were performed to evaluate the correlation between Hp infection and OFA as well as CAD.Results According to the results of 13 C-breath test, the positive rates of Hp infection in CAD group were significantly higher than those in non-CAD group( P <0.05),at the same time, theδvalue of Hp infection in CAD group was significantly higher than that in non-CAD group( P <0.05).There was a close correlation between CAD and Hp≥4‰,OFA≥Ⅱgrade,diabetes mellitus,age≥65 years( P <0.05).Conclusion Hp infection is correlated with OFA and CAD at some extent.
