Diagnostic value of combined detection of Golgi protein 73,phosphatidylinositol proteoglycan 3 and AFP heterogeneity in early primary hepatocellular carcinoma
Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of combined of Golgi protein 73 ( GP-73 ) , phosphatidylinositol proteoglycan 3 ( GPC3 ) and AFP heterogeneity ( AFP-L3 ) in early primary hepatocellular carcinoma ( PHC) .Methods The concentrations of GP-73, GPC3, AFP-L3 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)in 154 patients with PHC (PHC group),78 patients with cirrhosis (liver cirrhosis group)and 56 healthy subjects ( control group) .The results were statistically analyzed. Results The positive rate of GP-73 in PHC group was significantly higher than that in liver cirrhosis group or control group ( P <0.05).The positive detection rates of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3 in PHC group were 66.2%,72.1%and 53.2%,respectively,however,the positive rate of combined detection of the three indexes could reach 97.9%, which was higher than that of any simple item detection. In PHC group, there were significant differences in different AFP levels between GP-73 and AFP-L3 ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion The combination detection of GP-73, GPC3 and AFP-L3 can increase sensitivity and accuracy in diagnosis of PHC, which has differential diagnosis significance for early primary hepatocellular carcinoma.
