The correlation between CEA,SCC-Ag,CYFRA21-1,NSE in serum and three kinds of pathological types of lung ;cancer
Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between four kinds of serum tumor markers including CEA, SCC-Ag,CYFRA21-1,NSE and three kinds of different pathological types of lung cancer. Methods The positive rates of CEA,SCC-Ag, CYFRA21-1, NSE in serum of 56 patients with lung cancer before treatment were statistically analyzed, combined with different pathological types. Results The positive rate of CEA in lung adenocarcinoma group was 65%,which was significantly higher than that in squamous cell carcinoma group and small cell lung cancer group ( P <0.01).The posi-tive rate of SCC-Ag and CYFRA21-1 in squamous cell carcinoma group was 47.37% and 57.89%,respectively,which was significantly higher than that in lung adenocarcinoma group and small cell lung cancer group ( P <0.01).The positive rate of NSE in small cell lung cancer group was 76.47%,which was significantly higher than that in lung adenocarcinoma group and squamous cell carcinoma group ( P <0.01 ) .Conclusion The CEA,SCC-Ag and CYFRA21-1 are sensitive tumor markers for non-small cell lung cancer.CEA is closely related with lung adenocarcinoma.SCC-Ag and CYFRA21-1 are closely correlated to squamous cell carcinoma.NSE is closely related with small cell lung cancer. The four kinds of tumor markers are helpful for pathological typing of lung cancers and for clinical treatment, especially for the patients who are inoperable.
