Therapeutic effect of loop electrosurgical excision procedure combined with interferon suppository on cervical ;intraepithelial neoplasiaⅠwith HPV infection

Abstract：Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of loop electrosurgical excision procedure ( LEEP ) combined with interferon suppository on cervical intraepithelial neoplasiaⅠ( CINⅠ) complicated by high risk human papillomavirus ( HR-HPV) infection.Metho ds The data about 143 patients with CINⅠcomplicated by HR-HPV infection were retrospectively analyzed,who were diagnosed by colposcopic biopsy,in which 15 cases were not treated (group A),54 cases were treated by LEEP ( group B) ,77 cases were treated by LEEP combined with interferon suppository ( group C) .The pathological changes of cervical lesion and negative conversion rates of HPV infection were observed at 6 months after operation for the patients in three groups.Results The negative conversion rate of cervical lesion and negative conversion rates of HPV in group B and group C were significantly higher than those in group A ( P <0.05),however,there were no significant differences between group B and group C ( P >0.05).The three groups were subdivided into three grades according to HPV virus load.In low virus load and medium virus load,there were no significant differences in negative conversion rates of HPV among the three groups ( P >0.05) ,however,in high virus load,the negative conversion rates of HPV in group B and group C were significantly higher than those in group A ( P <0.05),however,there were no significant differences in negative conversion rates of HPV between group B and group C ( P >0.05).Conclusion LEEP therapy can obviously improve the pathological changes degree of cervical lesion and can increase negative conversion rates of HPV infection,but LEEP combined with interferon suppository can not enhance the negative conversion rates of HPV.
