Effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells transplan tation on endothelialf unction andc ardiac function in ;patients with acute myocra dial infarction

Abstract：Objective To investigate the safety and effectivity of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells ( BMMSC ) transplantation in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction , and to provide theoretical basis for its clinical application . Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with acute myocardial infarction were collected ,which were divided into BMMSC transplantation group and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) group,at the same time,20 healthy subjects were used as control group.The levels of ISCAM-1,SVCAM-1, SE-selection were detected by ELISA before BMMSC transplantation and at 24h,1month,3 months,6 months after BMMSC transplantation in BMMSC transplantation group ,which were also detected in the other two groups to evaluate endothelial function ,moreover,the patient’s cardiac function was examined by color Doppler ultrasound and 6min walking test.Results Each factor( SICAM-1, SVCAM1-, SE-selection) level in Transplantation group and PCI group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05).After 6 months,each factor's level in transplantation group was obviously lower than that in PCI group (P <0.05),and all of them in 2 groups were decreased comparing with pre-operation( P <0.05)while higher than that of the control group (P <0.05).EF and the 6 min walking test in Transplantation group were higher than that in PCI group after 6 months ( P <0.05),and were lower than in the control group( P <0.05 ).Conclusion The recovery effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells transplantation on cardiac function of patients with myocardial infarction is satisfactory ,which suggests that BMMSC transplantation can promote ventricular remodeling of patients with acute myocardial infarction ,moreover,which is superior to PCI.
