Study on the expression of insulin receptor in human ovary granulosa cells and insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor and their correlation
Abstract：Objective To investigate the expression of insulin receptor in human ovary granulosa cells ( INSR) and insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R) and their correlation. Methods Eighty-four patients with infertility received in vitro fertilization and embryo transplantation ( IVF-ET ) , the patients were divided into pregnancy groups ( n =42 ) and non-pregnancy group ( n =42).The expressions levels of INSR and IGF-1R mRNA in mature follicle wall granulosa cells were detected by Real-time PCR.The correlation between INSR , IGF-1R and serum sex hormones was analyzed .Results The high-quality embryo numbers in pregnancy groups were significantly higher than those in non -pregnancy group ( P <0 .05 ) . However there were no significant differences in the other sex hormones levels including LH ,E2,P between the two groups ( P>0.05).The levels of INSR and IGF-1R in pregnancy groups were significantly higher than those in non-pregnancy group ( P<0.05).Moreover the expression of INSR was positively correlated to that of IGF-1R ( r =0.712, P <0.01).Conclusion INSR in human ovary granulosa cells and IGF-1R may be involved in the regulation of oocyte quality .
