Protective effect of compound recipe Heshouwuyin on kidney of 5/6 nephrectomized rats
Abstract：Objective To investigate the protective effect of compound recipe Heshouwuyin on kidney of chronic renal failure ( CRF ) rats and its possible mechanism .Methods The rats were 5/6 nephrectomized to establish animal models,after the models were successfully established , the rats were administrated .The specimens were collected before medication and 4,8,12 weeks after administration,then 24h urine protein quantity,BUN,Scr were detected,in additional,the expression levels of TGF-β1 mRNA in kidney were determined .Results The compound recipe Heshouwuyin could significantly decrease 24h urine protein quantity,the levels of Scr and BUN ( P <0.05),meanwhile,which could inhibit the expression of TGF-β1 mRNA in nephridial tissue ( P <0.05 ).Conclusion The compound recipe Heshouwuyin has protective effect on kidney of CRF rats , and the action mechanism may be related with its inhibitory effect on expression of TGF-β1 mRNA.
