Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between HR-HPV infection and pathogenesis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesion in females .Methods The 2 234 women who received cytological screening in Shijiazhuang city were enrolled in the study .All the specimens were tested for human papilloma virus ( HPV ) typing by nucleic acid molecular hybridization technique and were examined by TCT .Among 812 women with HR-HPV infection, 476 women received colposcope examination and histopathologic examination .Results The risk of pathogenesis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesion in the women with HPV16/18 infection was significantly higher than those with the other HR-HPV genotypes ( P <0.05),which had the possibility to induce cervical precancerous lesion and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The risk of pathogenesis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesion in the women with HPV 52/58 infection was second only to that of women with HPV16/18 infection in Shijiazhuang city .Conclusion HPV16/18 infection can induce cervical precancerous lesion, furthermore, which may results in the pathogenesis of SCC finally ,moreover, the other HR-HPV genotypes are related to the pathogenesis of cervical precancerous lesion and SCC at some extent .
