Manipulation of Ultrafast Nonlinear Optical Response Based on Plasmonics in Gold Nanopore Arrays
HE Yonglin
Abstract:To clarify the modulation mechanism of surface plasmon on ultrafast nonlinear optical response of metal nanostructures, the transient optical response of plasmon modes under different excitation conditions were studied through electromagnetic field-heat transfer coupling simulation, with gold nanopore arrays as the target. The results showed that resonance excitation of plasmon modes could lead to stronger and faster transient optical responses than non-resonant excitation, and there were also significant differences in transient optical responses induced by different plasmon modes. This study provides a new idea for designing high-performance all-optical modulation devices, and help to understand the ultrafast nonlinear optical effects related to surface plasmon resonance from the physical mechanism.
