Optimization of Extraction Technology and Antioxidant Activity ofTradescantia pallida Total Flavonoids

Abstract：Tradescantia pallida was used for research materials to extract flavonoids and study the antioxidative activity by solvent extraction method in this paper.We concluded that the optimum extraction technology of flavonoids in Tradescantia pallida by single factor test orthogonal design test as follows:feed liquid ratio 1:70,extraction time 2h,extraction temperature 90,ethanol concentration 80%,and under the optimum conditions Tradescantia pallida extraction rate was 4.59%,and the process is stable and feasible.Flavonoids extracted from Tradescantia pallida had scavenging effects on free radical that selected in the experiment within the range of measurement and the effects gradually increased with the increase of the concentration.They had stronger scavenging effects on DPPH free radical and the effects are almost equal to the same concentration of VC.They had weaker scavenging effects on hydroxyl redical than the same concentration of VC within the range of measurement.
