Study on Relay Protection Configuration Scheme of Micro-grid Distribution System Based on Communication

Abstract：The micro-grid in the distribution system can be used to solve the problem of scattered distribution of clean energy.However,with its access,the fault characteristics of the distribution system are changed under the influence of distributed generation and there is more complex electric quantity change,which has impact on traditional protection and fault detection makes the system unable to locate the fault accurately.Therefore,taking the 10kV distribution network as an example,we analyze the impact of micro-grid access on the relay protection of the network.Then,a communication-based relay protection configuration scheme considering the reclosing device is proposed.Finally,PSCAD/EMTDC 10kV distribution network simulation model is built and the validity of the new scheme of relay protection is verified.
