Abstract:In present study, the processes of extracting total flavonoids from Glechomae by water bath and ultrasonic-assisted extraction were optimized using orthogonal test and central composite design experi-ment, respectively.Meanwhile, the two methods were compared. The results showed that the optimal process of bath extraction was as follows: liquid-solid ratio 20 ∶1(mL/g), time 90 min, temperature 40℃and ethanol concentration 85%.Meanwhile the optimal technology parameters of ultrasonic-assisted extraction were liquid-solid ratio 23 ∶1( mL/g) , ultrasonic power 170W , time 11 min,and ethanol con -centration85%.The yield of total flavonoids from Glechomae by ultrasonic-assisted and water bath meth-ods was(8.63±0.25)%and (6.07±0.12)%,respectively,and the yield of ultrasonic-assisted method was elevated by 42.17%compared to that of bath extraction. In conclusion, the ultrasonic-assisted extraction of total flavonoids from Glechomae not only can improve the yield but also save energy and time. The present study provides the theoretical basis for the industrial production of Glechomae total flavonoids.
