Abstract：Nanoparticles-TiO2 has broad application prospects in the field of sewage treatment ,because of its small size,non-toxicity,big specific surface area,photocatalysis and good absorption performance .In this paper ,the application of TiO 2 nanoparticles in wastewater treatment is discussed from adsorption and photocatalysis.Nano-TiO2 has a good effect on the adsorption of Cr ,As,and lead.TiO2 nanoparticles have a very good photocatalytic effect on the organophosphorus pesticides ,dyes,oil pollution,surfactants,mer-cury,cyanide,nitrite.
