Abstract：Excessive F-in drinking water will do serious harm to human health ,so it is necessary to de-termine the concentration of F-and take appropriate methods of defluorination treatment for high fluoride in drinking water .This paper gives an outline of the main technologies and characteristics of determination and defluorination treatment .Finally we have an outlook on the defluorination technologies and materials in water for the future .
