Study on the Enrichment of Se on Onions by Soilless Culture
Abstract:In order to understand the effect of different concentrations of Sodium Selenite on the yield, total Se, inorganic Se and organic Se of five onion varieties, the experiment was carried out through soillesscultivation facilities with sodium selenite as exogenous selenium. It was found that when the sodium sele- nite concentration was 50mg/kg, the ' Olympic' onion had the highest ability to absorb the organic Sewith the content of 2.08 mg/kg and the yield of 2241.7 g/m^2. There was a very significant difference between the interaction effect of the yield and the content of organic selenium and the treatment of other varieties. Besides, with the rise of the concentration of Sodium Selenite, the total content of the organic Se in onions decreased steadily.
