Abstract:To address the technical challenges of rockburst prevention under thick-hard roof conditions in western mining areas, the anti-impact mechanisms of retreat segmented hydraulic fracturing technology for thick-hard roofs and the influence mechanisms of construction parameters on prevention effectiveness were in-vestigated in this study. The distribution pattern of microseismic events was compared using microseismic mo-nitoring on working faces with the same geological conditions under thick and hard roof conditions after using the backward segmented hydraulic fracturing pretreatment technology. The research demonstrates that imple-menting hydraulic fracturing prior to coal mining effectively mitigates dynamic load sources during extraction. The key factors determining prevention effectiveness include mechanical properties of target strata, rational water injection pressure, optimal fracturing spacing, scientific borehole angles, and appropriate retreat distance. The optimal parameter combination for the hydraulic fracturing project in Xiaojihan Coal Mine is the combina-tion of a fracturing step distance of 8m and a retreat distance of 4m,with a water injection fracturing time of 45 minutes. After being applied to the 13218 working face,it makes it easier to determine the trend of microseis-mic monitoring and early warning, and also significantly reduces the impact risk of the working face.
